“Roots and Reflections” is a program designed to enrich your life. It’s about people, the land, the Bible, the Hebrew language, travel and most of all tasting the greatest food of the Middle-East. Roots and Reflections ranges from archaeology to zoology and everything in between.
Archaeology…
We go back to the source, rock by rock, cubit by cubit, through archaeology and roots and reflections.
Can you imagine, 70 AD, the Jewish inhabitants of the city escaping through a drainage duct leading out of Jerusalem as the city itself is under siege. This is an incredible find. The newly discovered drainage channel buried beneath rubble for nearly 20 centuries was mentioned by the ancient Jewish historian Josephus Flavius, as a place where people hid from flames engulfing Jerusalem under Roman attack.
…to Zoology.
Imagine Daniel facing one of the ferocious lions. Our program looks at the animals of the Bible.
Considering the rock of our salvation and meditating upon the Scriptures, we interview Bible teachers throughout the land and get input from all sorts of sources:
- Bible Teachers
- Messianic Leaders
- Tour Guides
- Archaeologists
- Arabs and Jews
- People on the street
- Tourists
- Politicians
- Experts
- Wildlife
Root and Reflections also organize a tour to Israel - be sure to be on the next one...
